Dow Jones Journalism Teacher of the Year invites you to join webinar

January 16, 2010 in News by Jane Blystone

From Carol Knopes of RTNDF:

Paul Kandell is this year’s Dow Jones Newspaper Fund National High School Journalism Teacher of the Year. His students at Palo Alto High School have been doing cutting-edge multimedia for years. If you heard his terrific multimedia acceptance speech at the JEA Convention in Washington, D.C., you know what a passionate and creative teacher Paul is.

Now you can join a discussion of where journalism education is going. On Thursday, Jan. 28, at 2 p.m. ET, Paul will lead a free 50-minute Webinar – 2020 Vision: Teaching the New High School Media. This is for all media advisers, their student editors and producers – and their principals.

The Webinar is free, but space is limited. For more details and registration , go to http://hsbj.org/features/announcements.php?entity_id=54

This Webinar is produced through a partnership between the Dow Jones Newspaper Fund and the High School Broadcast Journalism Program of RTDNF. It is funded through a generous grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
