Bloomsburg posts May/Senior issue

May 23, 2010

The staff and editors of the R&W are proud to share our final issue of the year. Following a long-time tradition, this issue is focused on the graduating class. And once again, we are looking for your comments. This is the final edition of this format since next year’s Journalism II students will redesign the format and contents of our monthly magazine. This year’s editor in chief and production editor was Courtney Sabo.

Bloomsburg’s April 2010 issue

April 24, 2010

Our April issue’s cover story focuses on Eagle Scouting and the efforts of several of our students to achieve this honor. Other highlights include footwear fashion and medical concerns, breaking or not breaking athletic records, EOS Therapeutic Riding Center volunteers and two sport athletes. We post them; we hope that you leave a comment or two. Thanks in advance.April 2010 cover

Bloomsburg’s March 2010 issue

March 20, 2010

This month’s issue is highlighted by an amazing double truck cover story about the dual between pitcher and hitter focused on the fastball in both baseball and softball. But that is just the start of our magazine content. Page designs are by Courtney Sabo, who serves as our production editor and our editor in chief. Page content is as always by the R&W staff and editors.
We are looking forward to your comments, sharing of ideas and other musings about our issue or about scholastic journalism in general. Drop us a line… we will get back to you if needed – we love to share ideas.March 2010 Cover

January Issue Feedback Needed

January 23, 2010

Just posted our January issue with the hope that someone, anyone will take a look and send us some constructive comments. We have received more comments from NewsPageDesigner than from PSPA members which is quite sad considering. Check out the Album on Sam Bidleman’s member page. Best/Only place to post images.

And as always, we are looking to fill the February pages with some good stories so we will take those suggestions too. This issue – focus on laptops, Warm Across America, the real guitar heroes, 1,000 point scorer, scheduling editorial and a kicking cover illustration.”
